If you have a glider you need to place, please contact me at suggiemom@yahoo.com  I will take in the glider here, or find a rescue home close to you for placement.

Why should I adopt a rescue?

There is an overpopulation of unwanted gliders in the southern part of the United States.  There are many reasons why a glider becomes a rescue.  I take in gliders regardless of the reason.  Adopting a rescue is very rewarding for the glider and you.  You are helping to solve a problem that, in my opinion, is quickly reaching crisis status.  Adopting a rescued glider will cost you less than buying a glider.

Rescues

Bonnie and Clyde at dinner!

Rescues currently in house:
Gimli a 1 year old neutered male  * Melee a 10 month old female
* Bonnie unknown age female     * Clyde unknown age male
Buddy about 1 year old male        Allison 2 1/2 year old female
Reese 2 1/2 year old female          Tucker 2 1/2 year old male

* These gliders will not be adopted out.  Some gliders have been through enough, or are too old, or it would be too hard on the glider to move them to another home.  These gliders become pets, and are part of my forever family.  Currently my forever family numbers 6.
